“In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks.” John Muir
As a Timberline Adventures guide for more than ten seasons, Julie has led hike tours, multi-sport, custom bike tours, and Odyssey multi-week tours. She has worked for the National Park Service and served with Larimer County Search and Rescue, and is trained in Wilderness First Aid. Whether bicycling across the US, or meandering through impressive saguaros of the Arizona desert, Julie will take care of the details to make certain you are well supported. Originally from Colorado Springs, Julie’s quest for adventure was inspired at an early age by hiking and camping with her family. She received her Food Science and Nutrition degree at CSU, and has certifications in food safety and defensive driving , as well as completing a Be A Better Guide course for tour leaders. She currently lives in Fort Collins, among plenty of outdoor opportunities. If you too are enticed by a chance moose encounter on a quiet Isle Royale path, or by cruising down a winding mountain pass in Colorado, Julie invites you to join her. She’s excited to share magnificent glaciated peaks around the next bend, or to savor lunch on a sun-warmed granite boulder by a chilly mountain stream. Julie’s goal is to ensure a tour for each guest that is safe, fun and memorable!
