Kentucky Bluegrass Tour Weather – What to Expect
The dates selected for our tours of the Kentucky Bluegrass Country and North Carolina’s Blue Ridge are designed to capture both the full glory of spring and the beginning of fall color change in an area renowned for its natural beauty at these times of the year. Temperatures during our mid-May time frame will range from the mid-70’s to lower-80’s during the day, while dropping into the 50’s at night. October temperatures can be cooler, ranging anywhere from the mid-50’s during a cool period to the lower-80’s
Although we’d like to tell you that rain during these periods is unlikely, we’d hate to lie. The lush rolling grasslands of Bluegrass Country and the renowned foliage of the Blue Ridge suggest that a shower or two (or three) in the course of our week is a contingency compelling everyone to be prepared with rain gear.
