Cindy joined Timberlines in 2017 with 10 years of experience guiding hiking and biking in the Colorado Rockies. In addition, she has over 20 years of organizing and guiding bike tours around the western US states and Canada.

Cindy was born and raised in NH, and found her passion for cycling in her 20s. She raced as an Elite triathlete, but balanced racing with slowing things down by loading her panniers and taking to the road. In 1998, she cycle toured solo across the US, riding over 5500 miles across the US and Canada. Since then she has cycled not only all over the US, but Europe, Canada and New Zealand.

Cindy spent 20+ years as a computer engineer in the telecommunications industry, but always made time to pursue her love for the outdoors. In addition to cycling, Cindy also became an accomplished mountaineer, summitting high peaks in Alaska, Nepal and South America. Finding her passion, she decided to leave the corporate world in 2004, and start a new career in outdoor education, leadership and risk management.

Depending on the season, Cindy wears a different hat. In the winter, its Professional Ski Instructor (Nordic, Telemark, Alpine), Professional Avalanche Instructor, Certified Wilderness First Responder, a Ski Patroller, and Director of Colorado Mountain Clubs Winter Mountaineering Program. In the summer, when she is not guiding, you will find her out hiking or biking from her summer home in Boulder, Co.

Cindy brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the trips she is guiding. She connects with the guests, enabling her to customize each trip to be fun, with a bit of challenge if desired.
