“Another great, well organized Timberline trip!” Robert B.
Yellowstone became our country’s first national park in 1872, and is known for its wildlife and its many otherworldly geothermal features. Right next door is the majestic Grand Teton National Park with its towering peaks and reflective lakes. We at Timberline have been enjoying these crown jewels of our national parks since our earliest days and can’t wait to continue to show off the beauty. We have created an all new shortened tour with easier hikes to introduce guests to the area. We will visit the Mammoth area with its travertine terraces, we will look down into the depths of Yellowstone Canyon and will stay by the shores of the great Yellowstone Lake. We will visit Old Faithful, geyser basins, bubbling mud pots and fumaroles. And we will take you into the heart of the Tetons for a boat ride across Jenny Lake and a chance to explore Cascade Canyon to Inspiration Point. This fall tour happens after the bulk of tourists have left, while the colors are emerging and the wildlife is active and preparing for winter. Come explore Yellowstone and Grand Teton with us!
