Patty grew up in northern New Jersey and always had a yearning to move West! After graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Environmental Science her dream came true. She began her career with the National Park Service as an emergency services Park Ranger. Her twenty six year career included law enforcement, search and rescue, emergency medical services, backcountry management and visitor services. She served in Big Bend National Park, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gateway National Recreation Area, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Rocky Mountain National Park and several other areas as part of a National Incident Management Team. After retiring in 2012 from the National Park Service, she began guiding for Timberline Adventures. Some of her favorite places to guide include Rocky Mountain National Park, Glacier National Park, Grand Canyon National Park and Alaska. She is currently certified as an EMT-IV. She loves taking Timberline guests to National Parks exploring and enjoying all the Parks have to offer. When not guiding, she enjoys birding, cycling, fly fishing, hiking and skiing, and traveling in her camper van with her husband Thom.
